DESCRIPTION:
The basic silicone is a crosslinking two-component silicone at ambient temperature, no polycondensation reaction. Silicone low resistance to reproduction statues and art objects. Prototyping.
APPLICATION:
Mix the silicone before use. The surface of the part to be molded must be clean and preferably coated with a thin layer of Vaseline or soft soap.
POLYMERIZATION:
The mixture is made by taking 100 silicone parts against 2 to 5 parts of catalyst.
- Cure time at 20°C:
- Catalyst 2%: 24h00.
- Catalyst 3%: 15h00.
- Catalyst 4%: 9h00.
- Catalyst 5%: 2h45.
ACCELERATION IN THE MIX:
A fast curing is available and can be mixed with normal hardener to achieve faster time.
