Body Double™ is a long lasting platinum-cure silicone rubber that can be applied directly to the skin to make molds of the face, hands and other body parts. It cures quickly and reproduces perfect detail from any original model — far better than any alginate. Body Double™ is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory.
One Casting or Many… For About The Same Price: unlike alginates which are good for one casting only, Body Double™ lasts for many castings in almost any material (plaster, Matrix™ Neo™, wax, Smooth-Cast urethanes, polyester, low-temp melt metal alloys, etc.). Adding HYPERFOLIC™ release additive creates a self-releasing silicone that is easily removed from hair-covered areas.
